A fine article on the history of the Raymond Theatre aka Perkins Palace. One of the greatest (and most tragic) preservation battles ever waged. THS members will recall visiting this magnificent historic house in 1998 during our Los Angeles Conclave. It’s fortunate that we got to pay homage to this storied theater – before long it was a distant memory.
