THS is sad to report the passing of a film-land icon BILL CLARK yesterday (June 17) at the age of 97. Bill was an independent film booker for decades and worked daily right up until the last few months. Bill thoroughly enjoyed tutoring the “youngsters” in the finesse of the booking business and telling tales of the colorful history of film exhibition. He lived in Michigan with his lovely wife Crystal. Bill Clark will be sadly missed but long remembered .
