BUY THE HUB THEATRE, ROCHELLE, ILLINOIS

The Hub Theatre, on the famous Lincoln Highway in downtown Rochelle is for sale. Its yours for $225,000. Now split into 3 screens, two on main floor, one in balcony, it originally had about 900 seats at its 1931 opening. Designed by Elmer Behrns who also did the York, Elmhurst, Illinois, home to THS Headquarters, and other small theatres in Chicagoland. Rochelle is the “Hub City”, perhaps because two major rail lines cross there. Railfans can check out the train viewing platform created by the city  where the lines cross
