Only  a 75 minute drive from Sacramento if you’re going to Conclave and want to do your own theatre “ramble”, sightsee, and perhaps gamble a little.

Bill Longen, long-time historic theatre enthusiast brings us news of his theatre:

Since December my partners and I have taken over operation of the IRONWOOD 8 STADIUM CINEMAS in Minden, Nevada, near Carson City and South Lake Tahoe.

The theatre itself is about 15 years old and we have made enormous upgrades to the plant since taking charge. We are still running film on all 8 screens and will be making the conversion to Digital in September after the summer blockbusters are over and kids are back in school. The IRONWOOD is a great example of late 90′s design.
