A disused theatre / cinema built in 1921, undergoes an extensive transformation.
The exterior shell is retained but the interior is gutted and rebuilt as 27 apartments plus retail spaces. Significant heritage elements of the building are retained. The architect of the project, Philip Thalis, reflects on the history, concept behind the adaptive reuse and the final results.
