Note: Please do not confuse New York State with New York City. Our beautiful state is 300 miles tall and 300 miles wide. The Big Apple comprises a minute fraction of its geography. As a general rule, it makes no sense to fly into a NYC airport unless you have a strategy for the 3 hour trip from the City to Schenectady.
If the train is your thing, the Schenectady Amtrak station is a short walk to our hotel. We hear that the ride up from NYC is particularly picturesque!

Is there a van or shuttle from Albany Int’l airport to Schenectady? I was on the ALB website and couldn’t find any info on ground transportation other than renting a car. Thanks.
